Toothache.....?
The faster you get the root canal the better. What you have is a draining abscess, and the hole is called a fistula. The long term problems encountered when not treating something like this is low grade gradual bone loss around the roots. If left untreated it can spread an involve more teeth. Obviously haveing any kind of low grade infection you risk a severe flare up when you are weak or tired. At its worst you have a very low risk of developing a cyst or bone tumor.

Get it treated.
Reply:ask your dentist..
Reply:My suggestion is to go back to the dentist %26amp; have the root canal. It sounds like you have an infection that isn't clearing up on it's own.'
Reply:that bubble thing is probably infection, gargle saltwater for that, it usually makes it go away. but Id get to the doctor as soon as I could,, if its bad enough for a root canal, it will only get worse until your head feels like its gonna blow off, but I had a root canal years ago, and eventually ended up having to have the thing pulled anyhow. So if your needing to save money and time and dont care if you lose the tooth or not, id just go ahead and to get them to pull it!
Reply:I wouldn't recommend waiting. If he gave you antibiotics, it's because you had an infection in that tooth. If that infection is still hanging around, those poisons could get into your bloodstream and kill you. You need to get it taken care of.
Reply:Try hotwater with some salt and if it does not help please consult a dentist.
Reply:Go to the dentist--sissy!!!they can fix it in about an hour and yu will be pain free!!!if its shots or just nerves, they can help there too! I have had root canals done and it is not a bad experience if your dentist is a goooood dentist, most are!that pustule on your gum is infection from the tooth and will keep coming back, and it can spread to your jaw bone or other tissue so grab your butt and get up and go!!to the tooth dr!!
Reply:The bubble is an abcess or infection bubble filled with pus and blood. Get back to the dentist right away. The longer you wait the more damage to your mouth and he may have to go deeper into the bone. If an infection is present the novacaine will not take hold because it can't get through the infection.
Reply:whenever you eat brush your teeth, esp before going bed,and use Listerine(green color)mouthwash, before mouthwash do flack.after a day you feel the difference.try this its a good thing.
Reply:You should have kept the appt to have the root canal, or either you could have had the tooth pulled...it seems like the infection is back, since the "bubble" is a cyst full of pus (infection)...you will have to take another round of antibiotics before anything is done, because the dentist cannot pull or do a root canal with infection present..you will also have pain, as long as infection is present, it causes swelling, which presses against the nerves in your gums...get checked again, get more antibiotics, and go to your next appt on time.
Reply:ok
Reply:the bubble is actually is the infection overflown and accumulated around the tooth(abscess).mediction is only temporary tretment, permanent treatment is rootcanal treatment.hot water rinses just drain the infection present in the gums but does not remove the source of infection which is located in the tooth.if u still delay, progresively ur tooth wil become losse and should be pulled off.so take care.
Reply:When the hot water finally stops working for you, you're gonna have the mother of all toothaches and it will make your initial problem seem like a walk in the park. Either get the nerve taken out or get the tooth taken out before the infection spreads enough to cause you all that pain.

Your home remedy might work for another day or it might work for another month and NOBODY here can tell you when it will stop working. Nobody.
Reply:swish some lemon extract in your mouth. If that dont cure it than you might as well head back to the dentist.
