Toothache!?

i sometimes get really bad aches on the upper teeth on the right hand side of my mouth. Its like four teeth that randomly hurts like crazy. I have braces but I dont think it is from that becuase I am getting them off in a few days and my teeth should not be moving anymore. if anyone can at least give me a vauge idea of what might be happening i would really appreciate that. thank you.

Toothache!?
Well besides cavities, it could be your gums. Since, it is difficult to floss with braces sometimes you gums can get inflammed and cause pain in an area. Also, it may be your sinus if you have allergies or a sinus issue sometimes that causes pain on the more than one tooth in the upper area. When they remove your braces you can let them know so that they can take an x ray and detect the problem..
Reply:sounds like some form of nerve damage. Of particular concern was when you said it hurt "like crazy".
Reply:You may just have really severe tooth sesitivity, or possibly an infection along the nerves of your teeth and jaw. My sister had this problem. Was solved by root canal.

I recommend ADVIL!!!! Don't bother with Tylenol, it barely helps at all. Anything that contains Ibuprofin will do the trick.
Reply:It's your wisdom teeth. If you're under 21 and your parents insurance covers dental. Then I suggest you have it extracted, one week of some pain and it's all over.
Reply:Listen to Kitty Lucy
Reply:Pain huh, must be from acid. Acid makes your teeth sensitive, so try drinking less orange juice or anything acidy. Something that would make the pain go away is Tylenol #3, which is stronger than over-the-counter Tylenol. In order to get these you need a prescription from the doctor or dentist. Works for me hehe. Also it may be from an infection, so you need to go SEE THE DENTIST!
Reply:DONT GET ANXIOUS FOR EVERY BODY RELATED PROBLEMS.

I HAVE A HOME REMEDY FOR YOU

* GRIND A FEW NEEM LEAVES AND APPLY IT TO YOUR TEETH EVERYNIGHT.

* TAKE NEEM POWDER AND MIX T WITH COCONUT OIL AND GARGLE.

* IF PROBLEMS PERSIST,GO TO A DENTIST

HOPE THAT WORKS =)
Reply:Actually my mom is a dentist I asked her about this and she told me that its the effect of the braces it means that its effective so no worries and maybe you just ate something that stucked into your teeth and by d way I have braces too
Reply:Having just gone through my 1st toothache at 53 years old I can tell you sometimes they can be more serious than just aches. One thing is if the teeth are infected or the gums it can set up an infection which began to hurt me through my whole body. I hurt everywhere like I had the flu! Food can be trapped especially because of the braces in your teeth and gums. Here is some things you can do until you visit the dentist: Rinse with warm salty water after each meal and at bedtime, stir one teaspoon of salt into 8 ounces of warm water, try a hand massage this can ease the pain. Rub an ice cube into the area where the bones of the thumb and forefinger meet. Gently push the ice over the area for 5-7 minutes, Oil up with oil of cloves--most drugstores carry bottles of the oil. Drop a little direcly onto the tooth. Use a soft tooth brush and a toothpaste for sensitive teeth.Don't bite, suck on some ice, swallow your aspirin--I put a baby asprin right on my tooth, Keep heat awa from your aching cheek, if it is infection the heat will draw the infection out to your jaw.

Believe me. Take care of those teeth. I've got good ones but the old hubby, younger than me loves candy and has an upper plate to pay for it; real teeth are better.
