ToothAche???

I broke my wisdom tooth last week and it is starting to hurt... What should I do??? I have insurance but the dental insurance isn't that great.... I don't have a lot of $$ to put down up front???

ToothAche???
You should get your tooth repaired/ pulled. Obviously you can't ignore it forever... and because its broken it's at risk of developing an abscess.. Here are some links

You have a medical situation that you really shouldn't ignore. As you can see from those images..this could get really ugly (and painful!) It's hard to really suggest where you can seek assistance for the financial aspect of it all without knowing where you're located...for example where I am~ this situation would be considered a "Dental Emergency" and is covered by provincial health coverage.. You could try Googling "emergency dental coverage in "your area" " or "financial assistance for broken tooth in "your area".

Have you tried asking family members or close friends? Can you take a loan from the bank? Pick up a few extra shifts or some overtime at work?

Hopefully you figure this out and Soon!! Good Luck!
Reply:who cares about the money you need to think about your health first!!!
Reply:Well you need to go to your dentist...but take pain killers.

They have medication called Orajel and stuff that's just for toothaches it should be at any grocery store with a pharmacy...it's over-the-counter
Reply:You really should go to a dentist, I know they are expensive but if it is hurting, you may need real work. Alot of dentist let you make payments each month. Call around. If u let it go and it gets worse its going to be alot more expensive. And forget using the stuff out there for pain like orajel it only works for a very short time.
Reply:You need to get that fix, because you do have some type of dental insurance they can probably work with you on the billing. You should try calling around to find out.
Reply:temp fix. i have this stuff called "tooth ache medecine". it's oil of cloves and will totaly numb out your tooth.. it comes with these little cotton balls you dip in the oil. place that on the painful area and pain gone...not sure where you can find it at, but may want to check local druggist. GL with it!
Reply:take some pain killer then go to the dentist they can work with the billing issue, you need help, i don't think they will turn you away, just try, you are in pain.
Reply:Toothaches or shall we say strange pain on one of your teeth or the gum-line is usually the starting point of severe or worst dental problems. Aside from giving you sleepless nights of painful miseries and difficult chewing, it could actually threaten your health and worst could kill you.
