I've never had toothache before.....?
Don't worry, you know for certain when you've got toothache cos it really hurts and it's a constant throb! I think you just need to take it easy on the chewing action if you just had your wisdoms out, but if it doesn't clear up soon I think you should go see the dentist again. Hope it doesn't last too long X
Reply:It could be a toothache, its best to phone your dentist if you are worried about it.
Reply:If the pain is located near to the wisdom teeth site, I would give it a few days to clear up.

If it continues to hurt or hurts more, becomes redder, or swells, you need to call you doctor. During the extraction of your wisdom teeth, some bacteria may have slipped into the gums and now infecting you gum/teeth.

If it is not near the site of you extractions, then you may have a unrelated toothache. It wouldn't hurt to call your dentist.
Reply:aren't you the lucky one, one day you might just experience it then you can join the gang.
Reply:Chances are it is sore from brusing from having the wisdom teeth pulled. However if it is a tooth far away from that site you might be getting a cavity and the nerve is sensitive. Is it with cold/hot or just the chewing. Just chewing I would say effect from extraction.
Reply:You might have an infection going after having the wisdom teeth out or just some soreness in your jaw from that experience. It takes several days to show up. The infection happened to me. It started small and ended up hurting more than the surgery. I went back to the dentist and he gave me antibiotics that cleared it right up.

Go back and check in with the dentist that did your surgery. It only took him a minute to figure out what was going on and he didn't charge me for the follow-up.
Reply:there's a first time for everything
