How to fix a toothache......?

How can I make my toothache go away because I cant get to the dentist for a few days...Ive tried orajel but it doesnt seem to work for me.

How to fix a toothache......?
salt water gargles with warm water and warm compresses to that side of your face.be very careful with oragel. it will burn your gums if you use it too much or too often.see a dentist as soon as possible even if it is at the health dept as if you have an infected tooth, the infection can leak down your throat in your saliva and actually damage your heart permanently.
Reply:Cotton ball soaked in whiskey.
Reply:Advil or Ibupofren
Reply:I use a medicine with metamizol for this. You should also ask at your local pharmacy. Good luck!
Reply:Definitely use "clove oil", its most commonly used to relieve dental pain and infection, works a treat.

Good luck!!
Reply:Have you tried clove oil ? An old remedy used for years for toothaches and also some pain reliever.

However, if it is a tooth that the nerve is bad or infected and your in need of a root canal. There is really nothing you can do for the pain and need to call a dentist and ask for some pain meds till you can get in.
Reply:Take two Aspirins every 6 hours taking care not 2 take these on empty stomach.

Take a small towel, warm it with the electrical iron %26amp; apply it to ur jaw at the site of the toothache every two hours.

Take a glass of warm water, mix a pinch of salt %26amp; roll the warm water with ur tongue at the site of pain. Do it every 2 hours.

These r only palliative measures. U must see the dentist at the earliest.
Reply:First of all, the infection can NOT leak down your throat and damage your heart permanently. That can not happen, and has never happened.

As far as the pain, orajel will work on the gums, but not on the tooth. I would alternate taking Motrin and Tylenol every 4-6 hours. Aside from that, until you see a dentist, probably not much to do.

Good luck
Reply:If it's just a minor toothache, and you have a cavity in the tooth, pull it out yourself. If your tooth is infected or something other than a cavity, then I would see the dentist and if you can't see him/her asap then find someone who will see you promptly. You need to be seen ...definitely.
