Cure for a toothache?
Okay, go to your local drugstore- there's a package that says toothache it contans: white box with the red cross symbol on it, tweezers, and a brown bottle of liquid. inside the box are tiny cotton balls. Use the tweezers to dip a cotton ball into the liquid, and place on the painful spot- even if there's a cavity. This will slighty burn, but the toothache will dissapear. Repeat this as often as nesessary. Also, take ibuprofen. See a dentist asap.
Reply:better drugs, im in the same boat.
Reply:Orajel usually works for me but if continues you might need to go to the dentist!!!
Reply:Orajel is going to be your best friend ( get the gel kind, white tube) I recommand that because I have a root canal that's going to be taken care of in a couple of weeks but I have mad pain.. so I put that on and it numbs it really well.. I don't feel anything for a good while like days while..
Reply:brush ur teeth properly and reduce chocolate and eat sugar free foods.

acids that attack ur teeth is the main problem.....
Reply:IF YOU HAVE ANY CLOVES CRUSH THEM AND WRAP THEM IN GAUZE OR A PAPER TOWEL,AND PLACE IT BETWEEN YOUR CHEEK AND GUM..
Reply:Ice cold water worked for me in the past. Get the water as cold as you can and just swish it around your mouth until it warms up, you'll know when to stop. Then after wards try rinsing with hydrogen peroxide to try and clean it out, hope this helps. If it continues you need to see the dentist.
Reply:WARM VANILLA. SOAK IT IN A COTTENBALL AND PUT IT ON THE TOOTH. IT NUMBS IT.
Reply:I'm taking arthritis medicine right now. It's time release so I can take it less often.
Reply:cut an asprin into quarters and then press one of them into your tooth/gums. If it's a molar, then just put the asprin on the tooth and bite down. It' sgoing to taste like **** but it works, and quickly!
Reply:I have one myself.

Take motrin-you can take up to 800mg every 4-6 hrs.Motrin is the best for toothpain. (most motrins are 200mg each tablet)

Gargle with warm salt water

use an ice pack for swelling on your cheek

use a few pillows when sleeping so your position is higher

try clove oil which is temporary and similar or ambesol

GOOD LUCK and Call the dentist!
Reply:Advil Migraine worked for me, for a time. No matter what you do, it's only going to take care of the pain for a very short while. I truly hope that you have an appointment already, otherwise, you'd better see if there are any emergency dental clinics in your area.
Reply:brush your teeth with peroxide or chew an aspirin with the offending tooth.
Reply:If you have an apt. already, you can call back and ask for some "real" pain medication to get you to your apt.

If you don't want to do that, try Listerine. I broke my tooth and couldn't afford to go to the dentist for about a month, this was the only thing that helped me. I would swish with it 3 times a day and it really did help the pain.
Reply:goodies
Reply:I put peanut butter on tooth every few hours, worked for me!
Reply:Hey there,

Here are a few home remedies you can try out...

Swig a shot of whiskey around your mouth as the alcohol will absorb into the gum and numb it a little

Hold a piece of ice over the sore tooth

Hold a piece of raw onion over the sore tooth

There are lots of home remedies you can try out, some may work and some may not, all you can do is try them out and see which ones you like.

The dentist will be able to give you professional advice but in the meantime you may want to try some of the home remedies.
Reply:try peanut butter
