does anybody know how to cure a toothache, any answers appreciated. and yes i know i have to go to the dentist.
I have a real bad toothache...?
Stay away from the kool-aid. Take up oral sex, it's fat free, and sugar free.
Reply:take a aspirin, or Tylenol or something and put on right on the toothache to dissolve.. it will taste SOOO bad but it will work.
Reply:Take a couple of pain killers and stay away from drinks that are either too hot or too cold, ouch.
Reply:Try oil of cloves as a temporary measure, can be bought at most chemists, if in UK? dab a bit on area which is sore, takes a bit of time but numbs the pain.
Reply:smoke lots of weed
Reply:call your doctors office, they can tell you if you have to be checked right away. sometimes they want you to go to emergency room right away if your tooth is absessed.

Reply:be a man and pull it out.
Reply:aspirin will do the trick :)
Reply:I feel for you. When I was a kid it seemed I had a constant toothache....I inherited terrible teeth, and we were too poor to go to the dentist.
I do not drink, however, I know from experience that if you have access to some whiskey, and can hold some in your mouth, in the area of the aching tooth, it will alleviate the pain. I am not advocating that you drink the whiskey. Take a couple of aspirins and call your dentist immediately for an appointment.
Reply:take some pan killers
Reply:Ora jell will numb it right away
Reply:There are any number of options:
1) aspirin
2) liquor
3) OraGel
4) clove oil
Reply:As temporary relief until you can get to the dentist...pop along to the chemist, and ask for either tooth tincture, or clove oil. Put a few drops of either of these on a small pad of cotton wool, and tuck in your mouth between your cheek and the offending tooth. This will give some relief until you can get to the dentist. Also, providing you have no stomach complaints,i.e. an ulcer, you can take Ibuprofen both to relieve pain, and to reduce any swelling.
Reply:Try tinge of muir got from chemist its a good tempory measure. apply to toothand gum area it really helps
Reply:Take a strong pain killer or go and buy oil of cloves and rub it on your sore tooth it really does work.
Reply:For temporary relief from toothache try Paracetamol or similar, but no more than eight [8] tablets per day. Go to your supermarket and buy some oil of cloves. Your local pharmacist may stock this too. Rub the oil of cloves over and around the gum area next to the tooth which hurts.
The cure for a bad tooth is a visit to the dentist.
Reply:Painkillers, Ice or heat (and possibly alternating these). Sorry i can't think of anything else.
Reply:i've had HORRIBLE toothaches before....like absesses in my tooth. Baby orajel actually works wonders! also u need to get an anti biotic.
Reply:get some disolvable paracetmol put it in a small amount of water when disolved hold keep it in your mouth for a long as you can stand it and that take 2 ibuprofen and it should work within 30 mins
Reply:It's a fact that toothaches or shall we say strange pain on one of your teeth or the gum-line is the starting point of severe or worst dental problems. Aside from giving you sleepless nights of painful miseries and difficult chewing, it could actually threaten your health. Before it's too late, get dental health care advices and solutions at http://www.themouthdoctor.com/dentalheal... and free yourself from the dangers of dental problems.
Reply:Oil of Cloves - you can buy it from a chemist. Soak a scrap of cotton wool in the oil and put it against the painful tooth. It will numb the pain for a while. It stinks though.
You can also buy Clove Oil Gel from Tescos etc which is less smelly and messy.
