You can certainly take Tylenol to help relieve the pain. A toothache means that there is an infection in the tooth. Infections mean that there is bacteria that if it (bacteria) enters the blood stream can cause an increased risk of pre-term labor and can be harmful to your unborn baby. I know you are not a fan of the dentist, but taking care of your mouth, especially during pregnancy, is just as important as taking care of the rest of your body.

Here are some helpful links with research-backed answers and information from the American Dental Association:

Reply:I would get a dentist! you can take Tylenol but ask your doctor first! temporarily relieving the pain isn't going to fix the problem
Reply:you should go to the dentis since you are so far along you can get differant types of medicine with your obgyn's consent. and since you are so far along you can have dental work done with out harming the baby.
Reply:You'll want to consult your GP before you take any pain reliever just to make sure it's safe to take during pregnancy. Then you really should see a dentist about the toothache. Pain always means that something's not right.
Reply:Tylenol, or numbing gel.
Reply:Paracetamol is ok. There are other home remedies like gargling with a solution of lukewarm water and a pinch of salt. But these will only relieve the pain and not solve the problem. Having a toothache could also be a sign that you lack calcium in your diet. You might need to take more calcium supplements.
