How to cure my terrible toothache?!?

I have a severe toothache in my bottom molar. It hurts so badly that I couldn't eat dinner, and i haven't gotten any sleep yet (its 5 AM now). Now all I can do is cry because it hurts like hell, nothing I have ever felt before. I tried EVERYTHING (clove oil, all OTC toothpain meds, extracts, salt water, H2O2, therapies, messages, onions, garlic, nyquil, dayquil, motrin, advil EVERYTHING), and the dentist won't see me until a week from now. It hurts so bad that I can't do anything. I really want to pull it out. What should I do?!! PLEASE HELP!

Did you try flossing and then brushing your teeth? I know that sounds stupid.... But sometimes it helps. There just might be a piece of food trapped in there adding to the pain. Try that....rinse with warm salty water. Take some really strong pain medicine....something that will help you sleep. Wrap your head and face with a scarf...this is to block out the air from hitting your face---or your mouth. This has always helped me....always.





Do something to distract yourself until you get sleepy enough to pass out. Something boring and very repetitive....like playing a video game.....or solitaire.... I don't know what...Just find something. Call the dentist and tell them it's a darned emergency and you can't wait a whole week.... Get mad if you have to. If you don't, it could end up being the longest week of your life.. Good luck, Granny B.

or u can take medicine like painkiller(ponstan).

and in any event DO NOT go to a farm store and buy some bovine penicillin and take it orally
Reply:Im a guy who had his wisdom teeth pulled without anistetic the only thing i could do for the pain was take a bath and submerge my head in the warm water as much as possible or use a hot water bottle for ten munites then an ice pack for ten munites and keep repeating
Reply:RUMAFEN tablet,my sister said it works,ask the pharmacist how to take it,cause i think you can take 2 tablet if its to much pain,and after that one tablet every 6 to 8 hours,i pray that you have pharmacy near at your place open 24 hours

If not, try taking ibuprofen which can be bought very cheaply from the pharmacy.





Ibuprofen reduces swelling and can often take the pain away from tooth ache by reducing the inflamation of the gum around it (I had an infected wisdom tooth a few weeks back and the dentist advised it, it worked a treat). It can also be taken at the same time as paracetamol, try holding a single paracetamol tablet between your teeth in the affected area. This tastes disgusting, so try ibuprofen first before this.
Reply:ibuprofen is the best medicine it reduces swelling as well as killing the pain. A lot of your pain right now is caused by swelling, so give it a try. It always works wonders for me! I also recommend gargling with strong salt water as this helps draw out the infection. or you can try amoxicillin
