Some ways to relieve toothache???
Get him some Orajel.I have been it that kind of pain before and Orajel helps.Good luck.
Reply:advil, rinse with warn salt water, lay on a heating pad on the side of the pain, hope he can get it taken care of soon. good luck
Reply:Use clove oil on the gum. If there is an obvious hole - see a dentist. If it is sensitive to cold and heat it may be a root issue. Either way - go see the dentist....
Reply:I have found if you place a piece of ice in your mouth, and slowly work it to the tooth that is hurting(it will hurt bad at first, but will make the area frozen), it will stop hurting for awhile, if you can suffer thru getting that ice to the tooth... Good Luck
Reply:Ughhhhh there really is no way. I HATE TOOTH ACES. I have heard that if you take like a pain killer and crush it up and put it right on the tooth with your finger it takes the pain away. I have never done it tho. Get to a dentist thats the best I can say I know it sucks but...............Thats the only thing
Reply:It's most likely from an infection below the gum line. Get a dental pick from the drugstore and dig deep down in there, past the tartar. Concentrate on the area where the pain is. If there's a deep gum pocket you will need to get an x-acto blade and trim the gum line to eliminate all areas where bacteria can hide.

The dentist will probably recommend gum surgery $2,000 and then regular cleanings every three months $200. Dental insurance should cover at least half the cost.
Reply:Please don't follow the previously given advice. It is never a good idea to crush up pills and put them on or near a sore area. Picking at your teeth with drug store instruments is risky and could lead to more severe pain. Assaulting yourself with ice is equally as risky. Your boyfriend needs to see a dentist or go to an emergency room(they will charge him a lot there and may not be able to do much more than palliative care and referral)
Reply:get cayenne pepper (red pepper, the hot stuff) and mix water with the powder to make a thick paste. apply to the TOOTH ONLY. don't get the mixture on the gum. the paste should be thick enough to be sticky. this numbs the tooth.
