Flagyl for toothache?

For toothache can I take flagyl and how many tablet,s or for how long....

Flagyl for toothache?

200Mg 3X/day
Reply:It 'probably' wouldn't do you much good as it isn't for 'typical bacteria'





I would go to a doctor/clinic if I were you.

Reply:i am not sure. but i do know flagyl is metronidaxole meant to kill tric infections as well as yeast infections, never heard it being used for tooth ache. why not try ibuprofen or mefenemic acid for pain and anti bac such as amoxicillin or penicillin based instead, at leat they toothache falls in these criteria.
