Why do we get toothache?

I have a very bad toothache on my left front tooth, I recently visted my dentist and she said it was fine. My orthodontist said it was healthy, and the x-ray of my mouth shows no problems with that tooth. I recently had two baby teeth pulled out from my top jaw where the toothache is, could that be anything to do with it?? I brush my teeth regurally! There's no sign it's a cavity so why is it agony?!?!!?!?

PS-- I'm 14.

Why do we get toothache?
I had the same issue with my teeth. Turns out the enamel was getting run down on that tooth.

Try sensodine tooth paste for the pain, and Listerine tooth defense mouth rinse to restore your enamel. (One note: if the enamel is already gone the enamel build might not work very well, you might need a professional to look into restorative enamel processes with you)

Good Luck, I know tooth pain stinks!
Reply:sorry can't help but just wanted to drop some interesting info

your teeth evolved from fish scales...back in the paleozoic

have fun with that bit of knowledge...

good day

actually, your tooth ache is probably a product of you having your teeth pulled. Your other teeth are settling into place, readjusting their fit with the loss of your extracted teeth.
Reply:it might be if your tooth is realy dirty or if it is going to come out
Reply:U hurt ur tooth's feelings. Stop that. it's not nice.
Reply:Some times the tissue can create a tooth ache feel from particles getting stuck or a gum infection. Also the movement of teeth can make it sore too. I would recommend warm salt water rinses and floss really well and take Advil. If it does not get better with in a week or two you need to have your dentist evaluate it again. Hope this helped you.
Reply:You might have a deep abscess. Sometimes these do not show up on x-rays and when i had one the pain came and went as it pleased and only got worse never showing up on the x-ray. My dentist was surprised b/c those are not usual symptoms for an abscess. Once he performed a root canal the abscess showed up and when he finished the pain was gone. You can get an abscess in your gum or tooth which could be causing the toothache. If it continues to get worse at least you have an idea what it is. Often when a person experiences a toothache it could be a variety of different things such as an abscess, cavity, sensitive tooth to hot/cold or both, or even a piece of food that was suck between your teeth could cause it. Be sure to always floss between your teeth and gums and use a mouthwash that does not contain alcohol when you brush. Hope this helps!
Reply:to be able to establish a diagnostic, an x-ray is indicated. Also is very important the characteristic of the pain. If the pain is daily, or in the night, how the pain is described, like a pulsation, or a consistently low pain, if it appear at cold or hut, or sweet. You didn't mention any about these. Anyway in case of sensitivity, the tooth paste recommended is sensodine. Also you should brush your teeth once a week with baking soda, because it helps.
