Bad Toothache Relief ?

I've had this toothache for a while now. . And i've tried gels, sprays, pills, and other things. . . But so far, it only gets worst. It's not a gum pain, this is a deep root pain. I already have a dentist appointment. . . But i don't know what to do until then. Any ways to ease the pain ?

Bad Toothache Relief ?
Two things,

Aspirin....suck on it, in moderation by the tooth.

the other one is combine cider vinegar into apple juice, about half and half with ice.

Reply:It may be an infection. Call your dentist and tell him/her about the severity of the pain and se if you can get an earlier appointment.
Reply:Tell the doctor you can't sleep! He will get you in sooner.
Reply:Over the counter ADVIL or MOTRIN or even Tylenol.

Try ice pack on the cheek over the area.

When I had a toothache in the past, I used warm salt water rinses and that helped too.
Reply:It sounds like an abscess. I know what you are going through because I had severe pain such as this a few years back. The only (temporary) relief I can suggest is take some ibuprofen.. or maybe use a hot washcloth. Yes, gels such as Orajel do not work.. that stuff sucks! Hang in there sweetie : )
Reply:In the "old" days we used pure clove oil. They still sell this at the drug store. Just ask the pharmacist. You soak a tiny piece of a cotton ball with it and place it on your aching tooth.

It really does help to deaden the pain!

You should also call the dentist ASAP so you can get in sooner or get a prescription for pain relief until your appointment. Toothaches are nasty! Good Luck!
Reply:You should be telling your dentist this.

They will squeeze you in immediately if you are in pain.

I got caught like that once on a Friday and of course dentists don't do weekends. My GP gave me percodan for the weekend until I could get to the dentist.

Well!! that absolutely worked and wow, what a ride. I was going upstairs to bed and my brain knew that I had to make a right hand turn, unfortunately my body walked straight into the wall.

Worked great, highly addictive.
Reply:RINSE YOUR MOUTH WITH 1 SPOON GINGELLY OIL+1 SPOON WATER FOR 10 MINUTES. DO THIS AFTER YOUR MEALS. DONT WASH WITH WATER AFTER RINSING. I HAVE CANCELLED MY DENTIST APPOINTMENT AFTER THIS TREATMENT.
Reply:by pills you mean normal ibuprofen pain relievers or paracetamols? If you're already taking ibuprofen ( advil ) and still have the pain, then i guess you have to visit your dentist ASAP! You might need a root canal treatment ( uhhh hate it! ) , he could help you open and clean the tooth, and maybe release the pressure or abcess , bu leaving it open and putting some eugenol in..
