Its about 10:15 PM now and wont be able to see the dentist until afternoon tomorrow. what can i do until then...plz advice.

thanks in advance..

Toothache...ibuprofen not working...what to do?
Amubusol or ask the dentist for Tynenol w/codine
Reply:Rinse your mouth out with alcohol (drinking kind!) like scotch or whiskey. If you do not have any, use warm water with salt. Do it several times, this might calm the infection down until you can get to the dentist. Sounds like you might have an absessed tooth.
Reply:go to your walgreens and buy some topical anaesthetics, usually available in a lozenge. There is also something else that is like a liquid that numbs it, but i cant remember what its called. it works great. Just go look in the pain aisle it should be there.
Reply:If you can, go buy some Orajel. It numbs the area... kind of a more mild version of the stuff they use at the dentist to numb your mouth. It's always worked well for me.

Sorry... I know toothaches are not fun!
Reply:that sucks been there done that, tooth pain is terrible! i would suggest going to see the doctor and they should be able to give you some tylenol 3's to tide you over till you can get in to the dentist. two of those every 4 hours will help calm the pain a bit.
