TOOTHACHE IS HORRIBLE? and input?

Alright, I'm going to the dentist tomorrow, but for right now, I can't sleep for more than an hour at a time witout waking up. I have a 3 week old baby and a horrible toothache (not a good combo, lol) My tooth has been aching for probably over a week now, but just Saturday it has gotten tremendously worse...(the tooth that aches is my upper-back tooth) Now, when I bite down, that tooth and the one below it touch before any others, and I can't bite down. It feels so tender, and almost like it is loose. Any ideas of what the dentist will say tomorrow?


ps- my gums aren't swollen

ok... if u came to my clinic i'll do the next:


the tooth as u describe it is: the wisdom, the 2nd or 1st molar...


if it is the wisdom tooth, i'll extract it.. and as it's in the upper jaw, it'll be easy and painless... and that don't conflict with milking ur baby...


if it's the 2nd molar or the 1st molar, first of all, if it is realy loose, i'll extract it,, but if not, i'll relief it from bite, then i'll do root canal for it, that needs 3 visits... and this is too don't conflict with milking





in all cases u should not take any medicine other than the description of ur dentist...

Reply:you may need a filling??? A little dab (using a cotton tip) of Oil of cloves on the tooth will help to relive pain. Also try some ibuprofen or panadol.
