does anyone know any home remedies for a major toothache?I need help NOW and my dentist appointment isn't for another 2 days.I would really appreciate it.

One of the best home remedies I tell my patients to try is cloves. Go into where you keep your spices for cooking, and find a whole clove. Break a piece off and put it over the aching tooth. The taste is not great, but it will do wonders! The clove oil is used in a sedative filling at the dental office to help calm aching teeth.
Also, any type of whiskey will help to deaden the nerve. Don't drink it, lol, just hold it in your mouth by the tooth that hurts.

Oh, also if you have any Advil, you can safely take 4 at a time as long as you have food in your stomach first. This is equivalent to an 800mg prescription Motrin.
