I have had a horrible toothache, it has sharp pains %26amp; when another tooth hits this tooth it sends a stinging sensation thru my mouth. It done like this 2-3 mths ago %26amp; now it's back so I don't know what it could be. I'm guessing my wisdom teeth are coming in little by little %26amp; it's hurting. It is the very last tooth on the left side. It's causing me not to be able to sleep but I certainly don't want to have my wisdom teeth removed this close to Christmas or I won't get to enjoy Christmas. Any suggestions on what to do until AFTER the holidays? This may be something that carries on a week or so like it did the first time %26amp; it stopped so I dunno if it's my wisdom tooth coming in %26amp; pushing all my other teeth or an abcess or what, PLEASE HELP %26amp; Thanks!!!

Reply:if you have tooth pain its infected get some antibiotics and that shoud get you through hollidays
Reply:See your dentist or suffer, perhaps you like suffering pain, on second thoughts go see a psychiatrist.
Reply:TAKE SOME IBUPROFEN THAT SHOULD TAKE THE PAIN AWAY FOR A WHILE
Reply:Go to the dentist, then you know for sure what the problem is, and if you have to have something done he can give you something to help you get through the holidays til you can have the work done.
If not, get some ambesol, ibuprofen for the pain, rinse with warm salt water or peroxide diluted with water in case it's infected.
Also clove oil is numbing, so I have put cloves in my mouth and gently bit them when I've had toothaches and it helps. Also there are natural toothpastes that have clove in them that you can apply like ambesol.
Toothaches suck, good luck :(
edited to add: Actually if it's infected the doctor won't do anything right away, he'd put you on antibiotics for about a week or so first. So you might be suffering for nothing. Just go.
Reply:I had the same problem until the last month my wisdom teeth have appeared. The pain is common and there is no other way then to bear the Paine.Press a clove between the paining teeth it will give a temporarily relief.
Reply:If you see your dentist, if he is able to see you , on an emergency basis, you may save yourself a lot of needless worry and concern. He may even be able to treat you immediately and eliminate all the concerns that are making you anxious.Remember there are always more holidays next year and you don't want to be in the same boat then again. Do it now and enjoy the festivities.
Reply:go see your dentist!
Reply:Sounds like you need a root canal. Get to your dentist immediately.
