Toothache help?
get sum clove oil from chemist it really works tastes yuck but great you put sum on cotton wool bite down and let it work
Reply:try paracetamol and go to a chemist eg boots and ask for ambesol apply when needed it works magic trust me.good luck
Reply:Advil extra strength liquid gel caps. I don`t know if it`s available in Britain, if it is try it. It works great.
Reply:Whiskey. small sip and swirl around tooth, never fails.
Reply:I feel really sorry for you!

The best thing to do is alternate the paracetamol and ibuprofen hour about. If you can get a hold of some clove oil rise your mouth, or the area of toothache with that. Swilling your mouth with ice cold water can also numb the pain. If you’re not driving or at work whisky held in your mouth can help too, personally I swallow it after a while!!

Last time I had tooth ache I spent hours over the sink rinsing my mouth with cold water, so I know what you’re up against.

Best wishes, had hope one of my suggestions work.
Reply:If its a real toothache ie its due to nerve related pain, then take 1000mg paracetamol with 600mg ibuprofen every 4 hours.
Reply:my dentist recommended putting flouride toothpaste on the aching tooth. This helped me
Reply:whisky, everytime!
Reply:you have to start with an anti -biotic to suppress the infection.

..in severe cases the.tooth has to be drained of the abscess for which you have to get a dental appointment. !! sorry to inform that just the analgesic wouldn't help you beyond a point.
Reply:Anadin Ultra Extra Strength 400mg. I took these when I couldn't get to the dentist, I had an abcess and had to wait 2 days. They knocked me out and they are strong.Kids can't take them. Black and Yellow pack. Good Luck.
Reply:You can take paracetamol and ibuprofen together the compounds are different so you wont overdose. Thats what my dentist told me to do, so i did and im still here!
Reply:If you can tolerate ibuprofen it is the most effective against dental pain. In a scientific pain survey they found that 800mg of ibuprofen(advil) was actually the best at mananging pain vs maximum doses of acetaminiphen(tylenol) even when combined with hydrocodone(vicodin). Using ambesol a topical numbing agent would help your cause as well.
Reply:CLOVE OIL!! it works wonders I SWEAR by it.

Just avoid getting it on your tongue by all means necessary

It taste nasty and it may sting a little, but thats the worst of it

Try it. U will feel better
Reply:i had the exact thing only a week ago alsso used this site for help.... I had an abcess under the tooth along with a gum infection the tooth had to be removed.. Please dont use cloves of oil as this strips the gum i did it the best thing you can do is call 0845 050 8345 at 8.30 in the morning they will book you into an emergency dentist in your area please dont suffer it will only get worse good luck
Reply:Go to your nearest chemist and ask them what they can give you over the counter or try neurofen but you have already taken the other types of strong painkillers.By law your dentist should see you within 24hours of your phone call if your in pain, ring them again tomorrow and tell them you need to see somebody..............good luck.
