Toothache pain?

does anyone know any good home remedies to rid of a toothache?

Toothache pain?
1. Gargle a mixture of salt and warm water.

2. Rubbing aspirin into your gums in NOT a good idea, it can cause a type of burn on your gums.

3. Gargle a shot of whisky. (rubbing a very small amount of whisky or rum is also great for teething babies, or for young adults' "teething" wisdom teeth.

4. Oil of cloves applied to the affected tooth. (available at pharmacies
Reply:any over the counter pain pill, and keep your mouth closed, the air is a killer. See a dentist in the morning.
Reply:crush an asprin and put it on the tooth for a minute then drink. water or something.
Reply:salt and water really worked well for my brother!!!! but I prefer u going to the doctor!!!!
Reply:Try rinsing you mouth with warm salt and water.
Reply:For a very temporary solution, use tooth ache drops or Ambasol found in that section of the pharmacy. You could also try holding any liquor on the spot till it burns and becomes numb. But obviously you know those only last a few minutes at a time. Even Tylenol and any over the counter pain meds are temporary relief. The only sure way of making the pain go away for good is to see a dentist and have the tooth either pulled or treated. If you don't have insurance or a regular dentist, there are clinics you can find through your local hospital. They will let you pay on a sliding scale as to what you can afford. Please go...get it over with. It's one appointment, even if it's uncomfortable for an hour or so, it sure beats being in pain! Go tomorrow. I promise you will feel so proud of yourself afterward...and no more pain! Best wishes to you!
Reply:the spice CLOVE used to help me. Just rub a little on the tooth, but a quick trip to the drug store and buy some Ora-jell is a better bet. Then get to a dentist ASAP. A toothache can be worse than a headache.
Reply:In addition to using the pain medication of your choice, sleep on an extra pillow to elevate your head. Sleep on the side that does NOT have a toothache. If that doesn't work, you can move to a recliner or the sofa so you can keep your head really elevated. This will minimize the blood flow to the area and therefore minimize the throbbing and pain. This might help you make it through the night until you can see a dentist.
