Hey, i have toothache, will it go?

i havent brushed my teath for years, i know its stupid, i have al my adult teeth and now i have some toothache, i bought a electric toothbrush so i am going to brush 2 times a day, but will my toothache go or get worse, i am really worries - i hate dentists, oh i havent been to dentist since i was young either

Hey, i have toothache, will it go?
Why would it go away? If you havent brushed your teeth in that long, which was stupid because now your gonna be at the dentist more. If you had brushed them you wouldn't have to go. Its only gonna get worse. Your not gonna have any teeth left if you don't get it taken care of. It will fall out sooner or later from decay, as will the rest of your teeth.
Reply:no it wont get better, you probably need a root canal. the damage done to your tooth from the cavity cant be erased from brushing years later
Reply:BAD! -Waves finger at you.- BAD BAD BAD!

I hope you're not a smoker...

By now, you've most likely got one hell of a cavity sweety. You can get six or more cavities in a six month period just by bad brushing. I know...

You most likely have a hole in your tooth which is sensitive and it won't go away unless you see a dentist...

Hopefully they aren't so bad you'll need them removed. My s-dad is in his thirties and last year had all his teeth yanked out because he didn't care for them. Now he has dentchers.

HEED THE WARNING! GO TO THE DENTIST! REMEMBER TO BRUSH AND FLOSS!!!

-Bonks you on the head with a stick.-
Reply:Tooth aches never go away. The only time a tooth ache will go away is if something is lodged between the teeth and causing irritation and then it is removed. Floss your teeth gently tonight to take out anything that may be stuck in there.

If you have an infection, it could get bad enough to damage your heart or kill you!

Make an appointment tomorrow and tell your new doctor how much going to the dentist upsets you. They can be super gentle and prescribe great drugs for pain and anxiety! Don't be embarrassed because they've seen it all and will be happy that you came for help.
Reply:Hey there,

I would ignore Melfred's comment, as it's views are obviously pessemistic, and he is apparently trying to "scare" you. I say, there's nothing you can do to influence the past.

However, you do have a say in the future!! Brushing %26amp; flossing will help -- however you will probably have to make at least 2 visit's to the dentist's office, if you plan on keeping all your teeth.

I hope your teeth are still at the save-able point.

I'm sure they are.

God Bless, I'll be praying for you !!

Reply:Oh goodness. It's unhygienic to not practice brushing of teeth. You must brush your teeth 3x a day and use moutwash. You know, if you have a toothache, you must see a dentist. There might be some complications for tooth cavity... The bacteria it produces, will actually be your health problem in the future.. Including, RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE.. so please,. Go, and see a dentist. Theyre specialist. They know what's best for your teeth.
Reply:Hi,

Ok, first of all, it's a good thing that you have decided to start brushing your teeth regularly, you need to continue doing that as it is very important for your health and it will help to prevent decay and other dental problems.

It is very unlikely that it will just go away, I know you said you don't want to but going to the dentist would be a very good thing to do, a dentist can tell you what the problem is, how bad it is and help you treat it.

Trust me, toothache can become extremely painful and you should do what you can to treat it as quick as possible.

You may want to try some home remedies in order to ease the pain, you can try things like drinking salt water, placing a raw onion on the tooth or many other methods.

The main point is to try your best to maintain good dental hygiene, do what you can to reduce the pain and get to your dentist ASAP.

Hope this helps :-)
