Painful Toothache...?

OK i have got really painfull toothache right now. its 3.15am so i cant go to the dentist. and i dont have any cloves!

Can Anybody Help?!

Painful Toothache...?
Try taking 800mg of ibuprofen along with Tylenol PM. Well before bed rinse with Hydrogen Peroxide and if you have it, afterwards hold a bit of Camphophenique over the painful area. Orajel PM might help as well. It is thicker and designed to stay where you put it while you sleep.

You can also try rinsing with warm salt water. If there is an abscess, this might cause it to burst and will relieve the pain until you can see a dentist. Good luck.
Reply:use pain-killers such as Tylenol?
Reply:Ibuprofen will help. Get to the dentist tomorrow if you can. I am dealing with the same exact thing. I think I have a leaky filling. Ugh. Sorry.
Reply:ICE ICE ICE!!! and lots of IB Profen.

Also, if is is super bad go to the emergency room. they can at least give you some vicadin :)
Reply:Go get yourself some oragel, or ice it.
Reply:try eating somthing or cover it and why are you up at 3:15 any way
Reply:If you're over 21, then go to the store %26amp; get some whiskey. You don't drink it though. What you do is swig it like mouth wash. It will work as an anesthetic. My late husband used to do this all the time %26amp; he swore by it.

Also, you can take pain relievers such as Tylenol. You could try anbesol, but I don't think it'll work on anything but numbing your gums.
Reply:Yes, There is a good chance that cool or cold water will help stop the pain. I have had this at least twice in the past when I had an awful toothache and it stopped the pain completely.

The cause of my pain was that the nerve was dieing and gave off gas in the sealed chamber of the pulp. The cold water lowered the temp and the pressure and the pain was gone as long as I kept using first cool tap water then ice water. Hope this works.

There is another possible cause for the pain. If the tooth is not hitting the other opposite tooth properly, it can cause the tooth to hurt because it is being rocked in the gum. I lost one tooth for this malocclusion.
Reply:Sounds like an abscess...You need antibiotics...but you have none...all you can do is what has already been suggested...I did the ice thing and Advils about 800MG to get me through.

Good Luck with that ... I know what a nightmare that can be!
