Toothache zings instead of hurts??

I think i have a toothache but it doesnt have pain just a throbbing zing feeling but it only happens twice day for about 20 minutes. when it happens i get palpatations in my chest

Toothache zings instead of hurts??
sounds like recession around the gumline. when you brush aggressive, you can wear down the gumline causing recession, when this happens it exposes the root surface that is under the gum (it is normally covered by gum tissue, so that is why there is no enamel on the root) when it is exposed, it will "zing" upon stimulus such as cold or if you touch it with your finger nail or when you have your teeth cleaned with a metal instrument. Try using Sensodyne toothepaste to help the sensitivity. If you are feeling hot, cold or thobbing that means you are having a tooth problem. With time, sensistivity due to recession usually lessens as you will get use to it.

Make sure you brush with light pressure and use a extra soft toothbrush, or even better, use an electric toothbrush.

Hope this helps!
