Question about toothache!?

I have had dull toothache in one of my lower back teeth on and off for a few weeks now. Is it possible that this could explain the pain shooting down my neck?

Question about toothache!?
yep toothache causes headache, pain in ears, neck, eyes...those evil parts of our body %26gt;:(
Reply:possibly

God Bless
Reply:talk to your dentist.
Reply:it possibly can because the nerves from ur teeth connect in a downward fashion in ur body which then can connect to nerves in ur neck
Reply:Um probably if the pain is on the same side of the neck as the tooth. It sounds like an abcess. You need to get that checked out and soon!!
Reply:its most likely caused by your toothache, go and see your dentist asap.
Reply:It's possible that the toothache is an abscess, and the pain in your neck is the infection taking a road trip down your spine to your other extremities. For now, I'd make Motrin your new best friend to alleviate the muscular tension your infection is creating, and then git yo happy butt to a dentist so they can prescribe the proper penicillin to kill the damage.
Reply:Absolutely, get thee to thy dentist, as soon as possible.

The roots of lower teeth are sometimes next to or around jaw, and throat/neck can be affected by dental pain from lower teeth.
Reply:It could be an abscess like the others suggested, or it could be tmj. I have tmj, and I had a dull ache that came and went from the same tooth. I went to the dentist, checked the whole tooth out, there was no problems. After 4 appointments she decided it could be tmj pain and created a new splint for me. I have had no pain ever since!!! An abscess usually causes horrendous pain that is miserable and inescapable, gets worse over time, and is only relieved by narcotics. See a dentist--they can determine what the problem is. Good luck!!
