Remedies for toothache soreness?
Sounds like an abcess. Infection. You would need antibiotics if that is the case. Sometimes heat will "draw" the infection out. I've used salt water...as hot as I could stand it...and hold it in my mouth. Even broth, if I was hungry at the time. A gauze pad, soaked in hot salt water...again...as hot as you can stand it, placed around tooth and gumline. Again, and again. May take up to 3 days. It worked for me, I didn't have insurance or money either. Just something to try.

If there is any way to talk to a dentist...I would do it. Some of them are very understanding about a patient in pain, and will work with you, for payments, with a little down. That's how I do it.
Reply:clove oil is the best
Reply:APPLY TINCTURE OF BENZOIN TO IT WITH A COTTON TIP APPLICATOR..IF NO CHANGE, GO TO DENTIST.
Reply:Something that has helped me, and I have no idea why it has, is baking soda. If I brush the tooth that is hurting with baking soda, for some reason, the pain lessens fairly quickly. I've started carrying around a small container of baking soda, a small bottle of listerine mouthwash (because it helps with the soreness and the stinky baking soda smell too), and a toothbrush with me to work and class everyday. Try those, and see if they help. But keep in mind that it provides only temporary relief, and you really should try to see a dentist. Trust me, I know it's expensive. I don't have insurance either, and am having to pay for all my dental work by saving up my own money. Do they have any dental clinics where you live? Also, try a dental school because they usually provide dental services at a greatly discounted rate. Good luck, and I hope you feel better because I know that toothaches can truly suck!
