Toothache while pregnant?

I have a toothache all along my front teeth and have never had a problem before, Im 25 weeks pregnant. Could my toothache be related to my pregnancy?

Toothache while pregnant?
Yes! I am 16 weeks pregnant with my second and I also get toothaches everywhere. WHen you are pregnant your gums are overactive and have much more blood circulating there. Which is why you will also experience bleeding gums on occasion. Babies don't absorb calcium from our teeth as once thought but the extra blood flow can cause little grievances in our mouth and nose. Now is the time to be vigilant with seeing your dentist. A regular clean and scale can make a big difference and they can also make sure that everything is ok. Pregnancy gingevitus is common and can also be a cause for discomfort and pain. I would recommend you go to the dentist for a check up. Tell them you are pregnant (if not obvious) for x-rays and better care. Tylenol will relieve pain in the meantime and is safe to take during pregnancy. (Always double check this with your doctor)
Reply:ask your obgyn
Reply:not sure ive herad you can have bleeding gums but ive never knowen it to be tooth aches
Reply:I got toothaches when I was pregnant with both of my children. They were in the back theeth and due to sinuses ( which were really bad when i was preggers %26amp; my ob gyn wouldn't let me take anything for it besides nasal spray) Have you seen a dentist? It is a good idea to get a dental check up with every pregnancy. You can ask abut using toothpaste for sensitve teeth. that may help you as well. Congrats on the new addition!
