MY toothache only comes at night time & when i lay down.Why?

I JUST STARTED HAVING A TOOTHACHE ABOUT 1 WEEKS AGO ,AND IT HAS BEEN EVERY NIGHT SINCE,BUT THE TOOTHACHE ONLY COMES AT NIGHT OR WHEN I TRY TO LAY MY HEAD DOWN...LAST NIGHT WHEN I FELT IT COMING I IMMEDIATELY SAT UP STRAIGHT IN THE BED AND IT STOPPED ,SO I SPENT THE ENTIRE NIGHT SITTING UP STRAIGHT ON THE COUCH,BUT I'M SO TIRED AND RESTLESS..I CAN'T GET THE TOOTH PULLED UNTIL THE 1ST OF THE MONTH CAUSE THATS WHEN I GET PAID...


ANY IDEAS TO WHY IT ONLY HURTS AT NIGHT OR WHEN I LAY DOWN???

toothaches are famouse for happening at night bec ause of the nerves.you can try oral gel,it numbs it for awhile.but its propally going to keep hurting every night until you get it pulled.take care

drink lots of water through the day.your teeth can hurt because you might be a bit dehydrated by the end of the day.
Reply:l would say pressure, the area is probally swollen and when you lie down its putting more pressure on the spot, try pain killers before you go to bed
Reply:I had this a couple of times. You need a root canal. Go to the dentist as fast as you can. The little pain there will prevent the nightly pain.
