ToothAche???

I broke my wisdom tooth last week and it is starting to hurt... What should I do??? I have insurance but the dental insurance isn't that great.... I don't have a lot of $$ to put down up front???

If you really can't see a dentist right now, at the least you need to make sure you are brushing your teeth two to three times a day and if you you ACT mouthwash, it will help to prevent decay. If your tooth starts to decay, you definately need to get to a dentist before it gets absessed.





But, if at all possible you should go see a dentist now.

It has to be done sooner or later.





Being in pain isn't fun and the tooth will just get worse.
Reply:suck it up and spend the $...you let the infection spread and you can damage your health.
Reply:You could always talk to the Dentist's financial person and see if they will let you set up a financial plan. At least get seen and see if they can give you something for pain until you get in there to have it worked on. Another great suggestion, if you take Tylenol and crush it up and place it on the tooth that hurts, this will take away the majority of the pain. Hope it helps.
Reply:I have the same problem now except its not my wisdom thank god i had those pulled out a few years ago but i did have my molar killing me really bad and i was in the same situation as you and i was crying and screaming because it was in so much pain and i didnt have great insurance, my suggestion is if you can go to a dentist and talk to him and see if he can give you pain pills for it until you get enough money to get the tooth pulled out or get a bag of ice and put on it and take advil for it. good luck, i know the feeling of pain. it sucks.
Reply:Sorry, but you need to go to your dentist. It may be expensive but when it comes to your health, it's worth it. Without good health, you've got nothing and this broken tooth is oonly going to get worse. This is one of those times where it IS all about you.
Reply:man go to the dentest no matter what, some dentest will let you make payments for the work they do just tell them up front what the deal is
