Toothache?????

my dad has a really bad tooth ache and when he breathes in air his tooth gets cold and it really hurts!!! please dont perscribe some medicine... what are some good home made remedies to get rid of a tooth ache....

The health food store sells clove oil that you dilute with wesson oil. Try this remedy, but eventually a dentist will have to be seen. Tooth pain hurts all over. Also, an infection can set up and this is very dangerous. I'm sure there is a dentist out there willing to help your dad!

A dentist is the only one who can really help. It is just going to get worse.


Oil of Peppermint might be helpful.
Reply:Probably needs pulled. Although i heard warm/hot black coffee helps ease the pain a little.
Reply:hun, he probably has a big cavity. ask him if it hurts when he eats chip or food with alot of sugar, cuz if thats the case, he has a cavity. and if you have a cavity it hurts to brush, so ask him!
Reply:If you can't have him take Ibuprofen try some clove oil.You can get at through the pharmacy with out a prescription.Try ice for swelling.I feel for him.Good luck!
Reply:A cotton ball soaked in vanilla flavoring will stop the pain of a toothache instantly, but it does not last very long. Good Luck to your dad.
