Can a Toothache give a sore throat?
Yes, it is possible to get a sore throat from toothache. The infection in your tooth can drain into your throat an cause you to be ill.

You need antibiotics and pain medication for at least a week before you consider dental treatment. if you tooth is hurting really bad then you may need to consider a tooth extraction.

Tooth extractions are really painful. But, if your tooth hurts really bad you will notice difference after your tooth gets pulled out
Reply:you could have gotten strep. but no toothaches dont cause sore throats.
Reply:You might have gotten it from your brother. Also, I don't think they can... Then again I'm not a doctor.. Try go seeing your doctor you might be able to get some medicine :]

Best of luck to you with the pain and figuring it out.
Reply:yes you have a throat infection.

go see your doc.

yes you can get severe throat infections from tooth abcesses (infection under tooth) and this can also affect your breathing as your throat can swell up and compress your trachea (windpipe).

but yours is BY FAR not that bad.

also, you don't have to have your tooth extracted , you could just have it drilled out and filled if you keep having toothache.

glad your toothache has gone.

rest, drink water, take vitamin c and get well soon.
