Help with Toothache?

Help! I have a raging toothache, but cant see a dentist untill tomorrow. Can anyone reccomend the best pain relief.

Help with Toothache?
Ibuprofen products like Advil usually work best for toothaches because they reduce any inflamation.
Reply:Nurofen. I that doesn't help get Victory V Mouth Lozenges - they numb your mouth and you don't feel the pain.
Reply:the typical pain reliever should work. mefenamic acid or if its really bad, paracetamol. it should work on tooth aches as it does for headaches. the most immediate pain reliever would be ice.
Reply:oil of cloves
Reply:take brufen 500 mg tht works or voveran
Reply:I am so sorry that you have a toothache. as a mother, I will tell you what to do, what I do, I take some salt and some warm water, not hot, and put the salt on the tooth. also take aspirins, like Tylenol. it always works for me when I have a toothache. feel better
Reply:strongest painkiller u can buy over counter is paramol. the codeine in it will make u a bit dozy but probably good if u have toothache, check with pharmacist u can take it if ur on other medication. if necessary and thats not enough u can take nurofen in between doses of paramol. thats the strongest over the counter pain relief. u can also buy a gel like bonjela called orajel to put on the cavity or some clove oil both available from pharmacies. hope it gets better soon.
Reply:If you can take neurofen then do or you can try ibuprofen but be careful with the doses. If warm salty mouthwash might help but don't put too much salt in!! or you can try warm on your face and if warm does not help try cold.
Reply:I use orajel, it's a gel that you put on the tooth (even if it has a cavity) and it numbs the pain within a couple of minutes. It's great. You have to buy it from a pharmacy though as it's a "supervised sale"
